Robyn Rihanna Fenty popularly known as Rihanna is a Barbadian singer-songwriter who gave us songs like Pon de Replay SOS Umbrella and Take a Bow. Being a young and popular singer-songwriter, she's one of the top selling performers. Her parents were originally from Barbados, and she started singing at a young age. When she was disturbed by the chaotic nature of her home life, and her constant disputes with her father she began to get involved in music. Before long she realized she was destined to be an accomplished professional. While in high school, the girl formed group and performed to be a part of Evan Rodgers. Evan Rodgers was impressed by her talent. Rihanna relocated to New York so that she was able to pursue a full-time singing career. Rihanna dropped her debut album and became an overnight star. The songs of Rihanna were favorites among the young who pushed her into the world of film. The young and gifted Rihanna is now regarded as both a teen-idol and fashion icon. Rihanna is known for good and actively supports several charities.
