She was born Christina Haack in Anaheim, California on the 9th of July, 1983. Her first job after leaving school was in the field of real estate. In this industry, she got to know Tarek. They were very successful in the years prior to 2008 when the market collapsed and many house flippers and real estate investors went bankrupt. Tarek El Moussa and Christina El Moussisa, the majority of their assets as a result of the 2008 market crash. The couple went from a $6,000 monthly home to a $750/month rental. The company slowly recovered as well as the economy. HGTV & Rise to Fame Tarek enlisted an acquaintance to create an audition tape for HGTV which featured Christina reflipping properties from scratch. Pie Town Productions' executives were able to access the tape. They were in love with Tarek and Christina. They signed a formal agreement with HGTV. Flip of Flop premiered April 2013, Between 2013 and 2017, the show aired 92 episodes over 7 seasons. The show featured Christina and Tarek buying properties located in Orange County. They would invest weeks in transforming the homes in order to make them for profit. Tarek does the demolition and renovation while Christina is focused on designing while also making sure everything stays on schedule.
