Sara Eisen

SaraSara Aliza Eisen is an American television journalist currently associated with CNBC. She serves as co-anchor on the channel's programs 'Squawkon the Street', and Closing Bell'. Although she's an Ohioan but she didn't have a keen interest in currency and markets during the time she was in college. While at New York University she interned with ForexTV.com. It is there that she first had a chance to work with business news. The Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University gave her a master's degree in broadcast journalism. After that, she was able to complete an internship for four months with Bloomberg TV in Hong Kong. Following her return to US, she began to work for Bloomberg's offices in New York. Later, she was promoted to anchor on television. In December 2013 she was recruited by CNBC as an anchor. Before she was hired as a correspondent on "Closing Bell the show, she was co-anchor on 'Worldwide exchange' and Power Lunch'. Eisen is the co-anchor of "Squawk on The Street" since 2014. One of the most renowned business journalists of today her primary area of focus is on global consumer stories since she joined CNBC.
